PART TWO:
Dealing With The Business
As a business owner you have to be a good business mechanic. You
have set one big machine in motion and, at times, it wants to break down.
What to do? The best practice is preventative maintenance so that the
does not lie down on you in the first place! Part Two will give
you some ideas on that. But even with the best periodic attention you will
still suffer breakdowns. In this section you will read about techniques to
use during such times, especially ones that keep you from heading out of
business.
The number one problem in small business is inadequate cash flow so
we need tools to deal with that. Salespeople drive your revenues but can
also drive others crazy so let’s be sure we understand them. Technology is
our great business friend so we will take a look at what can help us there.
All business owners are in business to make a profit so getting your
pricing, profit margins, and product selections right are key to this. There
can be a lawsuit to deal with that suddenly arises.
We will examine all these things and more in Part Two of Going Out Of Business By Design.
